Redefining perspectives on femininity and luxury
In the 01 collection a 3D knit structure made from Polyester monofilaments behaves like an exoskeleton ‘recoding’ the archetypical bomber and sweater silhouette to fit Electric Co’s vigorous dynamics, enabling bold shapes to interact with the feminine contour. This Polyester monofilament, an industrial leftover, adds a luxurious metallic shine to each garment delicately contrasted by an extra fine wool and mohair which gives the garment wear ability and comfort. Reclaimed Polyester monofilament is scarce. According to what is available, fine and thick monofilaments are used. This is one reason why the Electric Co designs are produced in limited editions: In continuous evolution from one collection to the other.
